Booking a Maldives resort should be joyful, not confusing. Yet the same overwater villa, for the same dates, routinely shows five different prices across five booking sites. We built Maldives Hotel Resorts to end that guessing game.
What we do
We line up nightly rates from the major booking platforms — Booking.com, Agoda, Tripadvisor, Expedia and Trip.com — side by side for each resort, so the lowest price is obvious at a glance. You choose the deal that suits you, click through, and book directly on that platform at their price, with their buyer protection. We never add a markup or a booking fee.
How we make money
When you book through one of our links, the platform may pay us a small commission — at no extra cost to you. That is the only way we earn, and it never changes which price we highlight as the lowest. If a cheaper option exists, we show it, regardless of who pays us. You can read the full details on our affiliate disclosure page.
Why the Maldives
With 1,192 islands scattered across 26 atolls, the Maldives is unlike anywhere else on earth — a country that is 99% ocean, where each resort occupies its own private island. That also makes it one of the hardest destinations to book well: transfers, board types, villa categories and seasonal pricing all vary enormously. Our guides and comparison tools are built to make those choices clear.
Our promise
- Independent. We are not owned by any hotel chain or booking platform.
- Transparent. We disclose our affiliate relationships openly and clearly.
- Honest about prices. Rates shown are indicative to help you compare; the platform always shows the live price before you pay.
- Useful. Our travel guides are written to genuinely help you plan, not just to fill a page.
